Lorenzo is a red slender loris (Loris
tardigradus), these are small nocturnal primates with large forward facing eyes and long slender legs that live
in the rainforests of Sri Lanka.
Lorenzo has been created using Schulte synthetic fabrics
with ultrasuede feet, ears and snout. He is filled with polyfil and
has a bag of glass beads in his tummy for added weight. His legs are cotterpin and hardboard jointed
and his limbs, including those long slim fingers and toes, have been wired for poseability. He has high
quality realistic glass taxidermy eyes set into specially constructed sockets with leather cord representing the 'lids'.
His nose has been sculpted from polymer clay and his mouth from bonded nylon.
Lorenzo has been scissor sculpted and has light airbrush shading
on his face, ears, hands and feet. He has an Arcas Designs fabric tag sewn in under his body.
Just like his wild cousins Lorenzo likes to climb on his very own branch. The branch was created from ultrasude
stuffed with bouncifill and strong wire armature for strength, the mossy base is made of green velvet.
Lorenzo measures approximately 5.5" from nose to bottom and his branch is approximately 8.5" in height and the base of
whichis 7" by 5".
