Hoggles has been created using a combination of Schulte 'hedgehog' mohair,
Tyber synthetic fabric and ultrasuede. He has been filled in the main with rubber pellets to make him a wonderfully squashy
and cuddly hedgehog. Yes, hedgehogs can be cuddly despite their spines! Additionally there is a small amount of polyfil to
give shape to his head.
He is my first completely unjointed creation, using an inner wire armature for
posing (and semi-curling up).
He has a polymer clay nose and realistic glass taxidermy eyes set into specially
constructed sockets. His mouth has been constructed using perle cotton thread and his face has been lightly airbrush shaded
for realism.
Hoggles measures approximately 7" from nose tip to bottom when stretched out, 3.5"
when standing on his paws and approx 5.5" in the unusual (for a hedgehog anyway) sitting position.
