It is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to this special
order Snow leopard, Uncia uncia, named Promise Keeper by his new mum.
Promise Keeper has been created from a combination of all white Schulte, Tissavel and mini bear synthetic fabrics. He has
been stuffed with Bouncifil, rubber pellets in his tail and a bag of plastic pellets in his tummy for added weight.
Additionally he has internal wire armature in his limbs and neck/back for posing. Each paw has been needlesculpted
and has individually applied stuffed ultrasuede pads (including, the carpal pads on the forepaws).
Promise Keeper has
beautiful high quality realistic glass taxidermy eyes set into specially constructed eye sockets ringed with waxed cotton cord.
His nose has been sculpted from polymer clay, shaded with acrylic paints and sealed with a matt varnish.
His mouth is constructed using perle cotton thread and his whiskers are horsehair.
He has been extensively
scissor sculpted and his fur markings have been completely hand shaded using an airbrush. There is an Arcas Designs fabric
tag sewn in just under his tail.
Promise Keeper is a large cat measuring approx 16" from the tips of
his ears to the base of his paws, 17" front to back and 23" from nose to bottom (not including his long thick tail which
measures an extra 24").
