Charlie is a custom order chinchilla.
He has been created using a combination
of fabulously soft Tissavel synthetic fabrics and ultrasuede (for the ears/pads). He has been filled with bouncifill/polyfill
and a bag of plastic pellets sits in his tummy for added weight. He has cotterpin and hardboard jointed arms/legs
and wire armature in his body/tail and all four limbs, including his individual fingers and toes. He has black glass eyes
ringed with waxed cotton cord 'lids' and his nose and mouth have been created using perle cotton embroidery thread. His
individually applied whiskers are made from hand-dyed horse hair.
Charlie has been extensively scissor sculpted
and has been airbrush shaded for realism. He measures just under 8" in height. Last but not least Charlie has
an Arcas Designs fabric tag sewn in under his tail.
