Betty is a very special order angel mouse.
She has been
lovingly created using mini bear fabric with ultrasuede hands, feet, tail and ears.
Her shapely figure has been firmly stuffed with polyfil and a bag of glass beads nestles in her tummy for added
mousie weight. She is fully jointed and has wire armature in her arms/legs (including those nimble little fingers and
toes) and tail. She has black glass eyes, an embroidered nose and mouth and horse hair whiskers. Her face
and ears have been lightly airbrush shaded and she has a fabric Arcas Designs tag sewn in under her tail.
Since Betty is an angel she naturally has a halo
and pair of beautiful white wings. I created the wings from a combination of feathers attached to a wired cotton base
in her back. Her halo is removable and is constructed from gold-plated wire bound together at the back with gold metallic
thead. It attaches via a gold ribbon tied around her neck.
Betty also carries three beautiful white daisies and a purple rose created from
ultrasuede, wire and golden seed beads. Last but not least Betty has an accompanying fluttering friend in
the form of a Monarch butterfy created from painstakingly hand painted ultrasuede, Swarovski crystal eyes and wired attennae
and legs.
Betty measures just over 4" when sat (4.5" with
halo) and approximately 5" when standing (5.5" with halo). The butterfly has a 3" wingspan.
