It is my absolute
pleasure to introduce this special order African leopard, Panthera pardus pardus.
Jasper has been created from all white Schulte synthetic fabrics and has
been stuffed with Bouncifil/polyfill, rubber pellets in his tail and a bag of plastic pellets in his tummy for added
weight. He has internal wire armature in his limbs and neck/back for posing. Each paw has been needlesculpted
and has individually applied stuffed ultrasuede pads (including, for the first time, the digital pads for the dewclaws
and carpal pads on the forepaws).
Jasper has beautiful high quality realistic glass taxidermy eyes set into
specially constructed eye sockets ringed with waxed cotton cord. His nose has been sculpted from polymer
clay, shaded with acrylic paints and sealed with a matt varnish. His mouth is constructed using perle cotton thread
and his whiskers are horsehair.
He has been extensively scissor sculpted and his fur markings have
been completely hand shaded using an airbrush. There is an Arcas Designs fabric tag sewn in just under his tail.
Jasper is a large cat measuring approx 17" from the tips of his ears
to the base of his paws, 17" front to back and 22" from nose to bottom (not including his tail).
