Agnes is a special commission bunny, she is based
on a dressed rabbit that featured in a postcard from 1910. I wonder if Downton Abbey is in need of a rabbit star?
She has been created from Schulte synthetic fabrics
with mini bear fabric inner ears. Her model-like figure has been firmly stuffed with polyfil and a bag of plastic pellets
nestles in her tummy for added weight. She is fully jointed and has wire armature in her arms and legs. She
has black glass eyes with perle cotton thread defining her nose and mouth.
Agnes's fine clothing
is all removeable. She is wearing a high necked cream cotton blouse with lace trim which buttons down the back. Her dark
green skirt is made from beautiful quality wool crepe and also buttons up at the back of the waistband. Additionally,
her cute little button tail peeks through a gap in the back of the skirt (a hook and eye closes the skirt just above
the tail). Around her shoulders is draped a vintage print cotton shawl and around her waist is tied a linen-look cotton apron. A lace
trimmed cotton bonnet sits on her head.
Agnes has been scissor-sculpted and has needle-sculpted hands and feet. She has
light airbrushed shading on her face and an Arcas Designs fabric tag is sewn in just below her tail. She measures 15"
to the top of her head (17.5" if you add her ear length in too).
Now on to her photos....
