Kelly is a flamboyant little mouse, named after his movie idol Gene Kelly.
He has been created using Schulte synthetic fabrics with ultrasuede hands, boots, tail and
ears. His petite (lol!) figure has been firmly stuffed with polyfil and a bag of glass beads nestles
in his tummy for added mousie weight. He is fully jointed and has wire armature in his arms (including those nimble
little fingers) legs/boots and tail. He has black glass eyes with an embroidered nose and mouth and his whiskers
are made from hand dyed horse hair. His red booties have been given several coats of PVA glue to give them a nice
Wellington boot shine. Last but not least his face, ears and hands have been lightly airbrush shaded and he has
a fabric Arcas Designs tag sewn in under his tail.
Kelly loves to go singin' in the rain with his colourful
umbrella. The canopy was created using varying colours of ultrasuede with wire ribs for shaping and support,
it has a polymer clay crook handle and top cap. The water drops are represented by Czech pressed glass beads, drops
and glass cabochons.
Kelly measures approximately 4" when sat and
just under 5" when standing. His umbrella adds another inch to his standing height.
